Make 2013 a success by planning ahead

Posted: December 19, 2012

It’s less than a week to Christmas and just over a week or so until New Years. Many patients are making resolutions and planning out budgets, vacations and work goals for next year. Along with those plans, how about making some suggestions to your current and potential patients on how to make their cosmetic choices in 2013? By focusing on informative blogs that coordinate with your office specials, you can help your patients make intelligent decisions while keeping your practice on the right track.

Skincare – Start off right with the basics in skincare and have patients make regular appointments with your aesthetician. Bundle products, injectables and laser/light therapy with your procedures to help patients look their best post-surgery and all year round. Some suggested content to share:

Seasons – The colder months lend better for certain procedures – laser and light therapies, recovering from surgeries that require compression wear and of course, extra clothes and accessories to hide scars when healing. Summer deals on injectables and surgery for those who may have time off (teachers, part-time, etc…) are also a good idea.

Trends – Everyone, including your patients, is interested in the latest trends. Does a procedure or product work? When will the next best thing be available? Is the hype real? Make them aware of what’s new, what works and how they can get the best results.
